Isaac Wesley
Isaac is a 32 Irish and Native Ottawa man who works for the Federal Government. He has been out for 14 years and first began developing a passion for the way that leather looked on guys about 10 years ago, and was especially impressed with the way their confidence, respect and pride. Isaac has been involved in several local events raising money for local HIV/AIDS Charities as well as participating in local leather events.
As MLO 2012, Isaac will reinforce on “respectability” to the community as far too often he has seen members of the community leave respect at the door when entering a gay establishment. It comes down to the principle of respecting personal space, conversations and attitude. Everyone is an equal no matter who they are and should be treated with respect. Isaac would use his title to help fellow Leathermen and Sirs with events they are attending for various fundraising events and help increase the visibility of locally owned gay establishments to the best of his abilities by promoting the services they offer.
